This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2003 Toyota Corolla
2004 Toyota Corolla
2005 Toyota Corolla
2006 Toyota Corolla
2007 Toyota Corolla
2008 Toyota Corolla

Tools you will need:
• 10mm Deep Socket
• E6 Inverted Torx Socket

Great video. Why was this intake manifold in need of replacement?

You do a great job of explaining everything. Including the little details, without dragging on perfect

The throttle body mount looks like for the 2005-2008 Corollas with drive by wire throttle bodies. The 2003-2004 is cable type. The mounting on the 03-04’s are different. So this intake manifold can be used for the 03-04’s.

Always good to smoke test the engine to make sure if you need to replace any of the manifold, valve cover or throttle body gaskets!

Whay would be some signs of a bad intake manifold? And would you have rather just clean the inside and replace new cascades?

Are vacuum leaks common for the plastic Toyota plenums ? Have always noticed a hissing sound from my mom’s 2000 Celica GT. It only has 120k, and the intake has never been off the car. My curiosity here, does 20+ years of heat distribution cause the OE intake to separate?

Theres a part on your manifold that isnt on the original one. The little part sticking out near the bottom right (in the front) that has the rubber piece over it. Am I supposed to leave the rubber cover on or take it off??

Hi, is this much different for a Pontiac G6? I don't know what I'm looking at. Can you do a video on it?
