Time for the TEXAS RIG! Texas rigs are killer bass rigs. Given the right conditions (and there are many right conditions for a Texas rig) bass won't be able to lay off them. Whether you're rigging a Yamamoto Senko, Yum Dinger, Zoom Lizard or a creature bait, it's hard to go wrong with a Texas rig. To make a Texas rig, all you need is a sliding weight (such as a bullet or egg sinker), a bead, and a worm hook. Chris demonstrates how to put this rig together in this 3 minute tutorial. If you weren't using a Texas rig before, add it to your fishing arsenal and catch some monster bass with it!

Dude yes. My favorite Youtube videos are when I doubletap that 10 seconds forward right from the get-go, and find that I have to go back because the creator has already got into it. 👌👌👌

I went fishing today and I did everything right with the Texas rig but I only put the hook half way threw the middle instead of sticking the hook all the way though and I probably had 10 bass grab my lure and take off with it and spit it out because the hook was stuck on the worm and wasn’t hitting the basses mouth luckily I found this video so I don’t lose anymore fish

Glass bead will also make a bit of a clacking noise to imitate a crayfish.

Nice rig. I picked up some Trout Magnets and heading out to Busch tomorrow, wish me luck. My first time fishing in Missouri in over 40 years.

You didn't pull the bead down over the knot and the bullet weight down to meet it. Therefore I'm giving you a grade "I" for incomplete youngman!

Do you need a bullet sinker for this? Would a split sinker work?
