What does Revelation chapters 2-3 really mean? What does it mean when Jesus said He would remove our lampstand from its place? Is this a story of removal or a story of redemption? Some people believe Revelation, specifically chapters 2-3 suggest Christians can lose their salvation and if Jesus removes our lampstands then our salvation is in jeopardy! 2 Peter 2: 21-22

21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it,  to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.

I understand where your coming from brother but I don’t believe that the term “Once saved, Always saved” is biblical. Because they’re too many verses that depicts faith in Christ and the wall of the Christian being that of Works. I can give you a ton of verses that shows this as well.

You can't lose something that is not yours to give. Salvation is a free gift given from YAH. So you can not lose it. It belongs to him. Did Israel who saw the salvation of YAH lose it? Or did they persish because of unbelief, sin and idolatry. As in times of old their will be judgement for those who walk in disobedience and who practice lawlessness.

The whole chapter of John 15 speaks of people that are in Christ. These are believers. ( 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. )

But right after saying that they are clean, Jesus clearly warns to stay in him to keep producing fruits. ( Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. )

Verse 6 again clearly says what happenes to one who does not produce fruits. (  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.)


In Matthew 24: 13 again Jesus clearly says it is whoever resist UNTILL THE END is saved. ( “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” )

My adult daughter passed away in 2019.
As her mother I have suffered greatly emotionally by the loss of my daughter. Due to wondering about her salvation. She was very involved in Church growing up. Perused a Christian College. After her first year she left. Got involved in her relationship with her boyfriend. They eventually lived together and my daughter lived a promiscuous lifestyle. The boyfriend ended up leaving her. And she turned even More to alcohol to cope with her pain, she never really got over the breakup unfortunately. She never really returned to the Lord. I certainly realize just because someone goes to Church doesn’t mean they are saved. Or just because they grew up in Church. But I also think somewhere deep inside she still held on to the Lord. She just couldn’t seem to recover from the boyfriend and a dysfunctional lifestyle. I find myself wondering was she saved. To be honest I stopped watching the YouTube channel of Truth unedited
