Usually you have a temp dip right before ovulation. Using opks right before u expect ovulation all the way till after your most likely possitive should show peak lh then taper off. Bbt and opk together very helpful

Can you talk about BBT and how it works with the naturals cycles fda approved birth control app to prevent pregnancy? I want to switch over to that as it’s non hormonal but don’t know how effective it actually is!

Can you talk about progesterone/estrogen ratio? I’ve read about it and mine on my luteal phase testing was not a proper ratio. Is this important for fertility or even a concern? Mine was heavier on the estrogen side. Your videos are so helpful! Thank you ❤

So to try and get in the habit of taking my bbt I started taking my temp first thing when I wake up on the second day of my cycle even though I’m on my period. It was 97.1 F and then I took it the next day and it was 97.8 am I doing something wrong or is that normal?

Hello I love your videos! If I see my body temperature high means my ovulation passed so I can't get any more pregnant! What's the more accurate to find out when is my ovulation day if I'm in regularly.

97.0f - 97.5f = 36.11c - 36.38c before ovulation.
97.6f - 98.6f = 36.44c - 37c after ovulation.

Most countries in the world use the Metric system.

Dr. Crawford, would you please elaborate more on why the body makes more FSH and LH when we're older, like 38?

I had a drop in temperature from 97.1 down to 96.9 on cycle day 13. On cycle day 17 it dropped to 96.6 and then on cycle day 19 it spiked to 97.6. On cycle day 20 it was 97.7. I was also taking opks and they said I hit my peak LH on cycle day 18 and then dropped back down on cycle day 19 and 20. Did I ovulate?

What does it mean when my temp rises very slowly after ovulation?

If we have irregular cycles, what's the best natural way to track ovulation? BBT was stressful lol. I usually check cervical mucus.

The body is truly amazing. Love always how you meticulously explain it all in an understanding manner. ❤️

so am i to understand that bbt method only tells you that you HAVE ovulated because the rise in temp happens after the fact? so this method is only helpful when data has been collected over several cycles so that you can estimate when ovulation should have *happened* past tense. so first time cycle tracking this would not be helpful? am i right?🥺

Thank you for this! I’m trying to track with my IUD. I don’t want kids personally & am trying to see when I can expect spotting lol - if I have an IUD do our bodies go through the same monthly hormones changes??

If I normally get up at six in the morning but some days I wake up and I have to pee at 3 or 4 o’clock and I get up to go pee and then go back to bed and get up at six is that going to mess up my temperature reading for the day since I got up a couple hours prior to use the bathroom? also, I normally sleep in a little bit more on weekends, or if we go to visit family or something, so will that be a problem in tracking? Or if I had a wearable device, could it take my temperature at the same exact time each day even if I’m still sleeping?

I’m seeing a fertility specialist who thinks I may not be ovulating even though I get my period every month normally every 28 days. Large clots every month since I miscarried 17 months ago. I feel like something is wrong but bloodwork and ultrasounds are normal. Tubes are not blocked neither. What do you suggest?
My Dr said we are going to do a 3rd round of letrozole and if fails then we’ll start discussing possible IUI.

PLEASE HELP 🙏🏼

my basal body temperature looked like this:(29days cycle/32days cycle)
after period(which was 5days)
day 6>>BBT: 36.47
day 7>>BBT:36.28
I stopped in between until before my fertile window period started.
day 11>>BBT:36.25
day 12>>BBT:36.35(fertile window period according to the cycle tracking app on my iphone)
day 13>>BBT:36.15(fertile window period)
day 14>>BBT:36.02(fertile window period)
day 15>>BBT:36.32(fertile window period)
day 16>>BBT:36.48(fertile window period)
day 17>>BBT:36.41
day 18>>BBT:36.61
day 19>>BBT:36.60
can anyone help me understand when did I ovulate? according to the book it should be day 15, my previous month cycle was 29 days. so 29/2 ? >15th day?
but the BBT dint seemed to have rised up! did i ovulate on the highest BBT which was after the fertile window period? day 18? i seriously have no idea over this BBT thing.

So what happens if your bbt is elevated for 13 days and pregnancy tests are negative?

Is it possible to not Ovulate even with spike in LH test and BBT?! I have a 28 day cycle and Ovulate around 14th or 15th day I.e the LH test shows two dark lines. I am trying to get pregnant, it's only been 4 months, but even with +ve LH surge I am not getting pregnant.
