I switched from hormones to BBT for prevention reasons about 5 years ago and never had any problems with it. Now that we are TTC I feel ahead of the game as I already know my cycle very well and am confident it’s regular

It’s great that you are shedding some light on NFP and how it is an alternative to using contraception. I love the Marquette Method! It even has a protocol for breastfeeding! The Marquette Method is not the rhythm method at all. Not all methods of NFP are the same or unscientific/outdated approaches to fertility, and I feel like the general conclusion here was kind of lumping NFP into that category when using it to prevent pregnancy. NFP can be SO science-based and effective. And no side effects ever 💛

All I have to say is THANK YOU!! Explaining and understanding this can be so confusing, but you really simplified it to make it easier to comprehend.

My only question is, why aren’t we taught this in school???

Hey Natalie! Can you talk about the comparison of a wearable device or BBT? I do/have both and find my watch and BBT rarely matches or sometimes not even close!

Hi there! I have a question: I’m currently TTC and have been using OPKs to track my cycle. I use both digital & regular strips. On CD19, the digital had a static face (according to the instructions, this is my peak or positive). However, that same day the strip came as low or negative. So I wonder if there’s one type of test that’s more “reliable” or “accurate”. Also, is this common?

My FSH went from 6.4 to 13 in 18 months, all other tests are normal.
I’m 24 going into IVF.
Can you tell me what are my odds?
And if you can make a video on high FSH.

Do you think combining multiple methods of NFP to prevent pregnancy would be most effective?

HEY DOC, QUESTION!
We had my first child at 36 and now at 39 we are trying again; I have one fallopian tube, where does that egg go when that side ovulates? Clearly not down a tube...
Is my Ovarian Reserve affected because I only have one tube? What else should I know about having only one tube?

Does the egg actually change or grow during the follicular phase or is it just the follicle that is growing? Does the egg need the sperm to start growing and dividing or does it grow before that?
