Most of all, I love the fact that you find out of the way places and not just the standards that you see in every other NY food video (e.g. Katz's). Spunto's -- thin crust pizza is my go-to place as I'm trying to keep things low-carb so it's a treat once a month. 30lbs. down for 2y+. It's working for me.

I love NY pizza, my favorite place to get pizza in NYC is Lucali in Brooklyn. Reservations are needed but it's well worth it. I also like the dollar pizza spots in Manhattan. A few spots serving Detroit pizza have also opened up in NYC and Detroit pizza is also good with pepperoni cups and a thick crust
