I worked at Katz's Deli in 1968 for exactly 2 hours. Lol! I tried out for being the cashier there, but I wasn't fast enough for the lunch hour, which in that part of town was absolutely crazy! After they told me they couldn't hire me, I was offered to select anything I wanted for lunch. I had a corned beef on rye, huge side of fries! I can STILL taste that sandwich! So awesome! Great people too! Dying to go back someday!
