howcome my screw doesnt go all the way in

My servo base is working, I updated all the drivers ect but my Thrustmaster Ferrari 488 GT3 Wheel Add-On is not turning on when attached to the servo. I've taken it off and put it back on a dozen times thinking it wasn't connected right and it doesn't work. Any thoughts?

During the design meeting for the Thrustmaster rim's "quick release":

"So, how are we going to attach the steering wheel to the base? Any suggestions?"

if i put the screw in then i cant scroll the wheel lock to the end and the steering wheel is loose and wobbles
