For anyone who’s confused why Reload isn’t rotating maps, the patch notes say the rotation doesn’t start until November 12.

I've played about 5 games and I'm really struggling for shields. In 2 of the games i have not got full shield until the last 10 players or so. Not sure if anyone else is getting this experience.

As a zero build player from day one you can really tell that Fortnite was built with builds in mind from the beginning. This map is very open and you pretty much have to stand still to hit with tap firing on medium and up ranges.

ZB on this map feels like an afterthought and it doesn't play well at all. Thankfully it's over in a month.

Remix feels very much like Chapter 2 in terms of tempo and in terms of combat. Large open spaces, no OP items, eliminations require more than one or two shots, mobility is transport and not tactical (except I really love to grief folks with the boat cannon- it doesn't do much damage but it's fun to grief players from long distance). I find Remix more challenging than recent seasons, but it's not a flashy "challenging"- it feels more like a chess match, trying to find small advantages when you can. It's more of a thinking game, I think. It's what I love about Fortnite.

I've been enjoying reload much more, some chapter 4 weapons are back, the map is fresh and you can finally play solo, huge W.

played quite a bit today and really enjoyed it! i can see why people might get frustrated with the pace of the game, it did feel quite slow, but just embrace it, this month will fly by and then it will be gone. Llama tip, just prioritise landing at a boss poi and you either get the vault and decent weapons off the rip, or die trying. GGs Jake, great video as ever

TBH after so many seasons of getting lasered from a distance its refreshing to have the meta be focused more around close quarters. I'm sure it will go back to the old style anyway once Chapter 6 hits, so I'll be enjoying this while it lasts!

Not enough shields and I dislike the weapons. Unless you are close to a player it seems to be a coin toss if the bullets land but when they land the damage is high. And getting one shot with the pump got old very quickly in ZB.

not a fan of og mechanics. glad its only 4 weeks. im a zb only player and these old maps+mechanics dont feel good

Yea I'm not liking it atm, BUT.. I didn't like Reload either when it first came out... Then I started playing more and more and I liked it... Definitely something I need to get used too.. I started in Chapter 5 so this is all just very new... Hoping I'll love it soon...

Unpopular opinion but I genuinely don’t like OG Fortnite. I like the new Fortnite mechanics and projectile weapons. I’m struggling to play this season. I know it’s a skill issue. And I want to enjoy it, but I suck at this game with OG mechanics and guns. That’s why I never got into Reloaded.

I get that those weren't introduced in C2 but ZB needs port-a-bunkers and shield bubbles, it's not fun at the moment. And I'd love to learn build, if I wasn't 7 years behind everyone else I'm facing...
