I hate that it’s like this because everyone knows it’s trash, even some of the teachers are blatantly honest, the system sucks. And yet it continues, same as always. Nobody does anything about it

my teacher literally admit that what i just learned was useless. They said "If you ask an adult how to do this they won't know because they haven't done it in years."

My math teacher once got so annoyed by my class, he said “You don’t use anything beyond algebra in real life. You must know that already, since you aren’t taking my class seriously.”

I really do agree with this. I think the main problem is that the school values more form u memories on what ur doing and grades then what or how ur suppose to use. There a difference between learning it and understanding it. Learning it is that u know what ur doing, but understanding is knowing HOW to do it.

One thing about school that I’ve heard from many other people is that it killed their love of reading books. I used to love reading up until jr high when they forced us to read books and test us on them.
