A creationist when asked to define information pointed me to Shannon information and I couldn't understand a thing, was complicated and there wasn't anything precise I could pin down. Now I see why, it has literally nothing to do with what they mean by information. Great explonation of Shannon information btw, now I kinda understand it

I knew a little of Shannon's work due to having numerous friends who were computer scientists, but this video put much of it into context. Werner Gitt's 'Laws' sound like some of the 'Laws' that Kent Hovind dreams up.
