What a shocker. A company's employees are tired of being harassed and assaulted by insane homeless people everyday just walking into their jobs.

Vote for stupid policies, win stupid prizes Portlanders. Was a great city in the 90s. Now it is just a shitty city.

Hell of a job Mayor Wheeler, why not just rename the building Antifa Tower.

The Portland City Officials are to blame for not anticipating the exit. Leadership is the ability to see around corners and the elected officials are failing this test of leadership. They must be held accountable for their ineffectiveness.

I'm a US BANK customer. I glad to see them making sound financial decisions. It gives me confidence in their business dealings.
The Mayor speaks of new business opening up. One has to wonder if they are methadone clinics and pawnshops?

Lol none of the enployees want to risk being murdered. Cant blame them

“A large number of new openings. New business openings are up substantially.” -Ted Wheeler. The way politicians put things with language is incredible. Closures are turned into “openings”.

Screw Portland. There was a time when I planned on visiting there. Now, never.

Maybe Antifa would like to rent the tower.

Downtown is still going to hollow out for another 2-4 years. Maybe 60-70% vacancy rate.

Maybe the bank decided that they have had enough of the craziness that the city's leadership has tolerated.

To the business owners that will feel an impact of this, and to the employees of those businesses, who may see hours cut, or jobs eliminated, or lower earnings, please remember to "keep your eye on the big picture, keep moving the ball forward, and keep speaking with a voice of optimism about the future of the city".
What a clown...

There will be no recovery until it's safe to work downtown. I feel for the law abiding people of Portland. It's going to take a decade or more to see any real change.
