If you're confused as to why you must upgrade now, I'll try to explain. Windows 7 is ending support so Microsoft can focus more time and money on expanding Windows 10. Windows 7 is old and uses an old architecture that is very outdated so updating the OS is like adding more floors onto a building with foundations that can't support it.


Still using Windows 7 is bad because:
-Most programs and their updates won't support it in the coming years as they require 10s features.
-The same case with games and things such as Steam and Origin will be ending for Windows 7

-Secuity updates are ending, resulting in an outdated windows firewall/defender which will make viruses very harmful
-Windows 7 is no longer be shipped with pre-built PCs
-Windows 10 uses the new DirectX 12 which allows for high end games to run and they wont be able to run without it. Checking out the minimum specs for games to be released in 2020 will show that it requires Windows 10.
-Windows 10 includes APIs which 7 doesn't have due to the different architecture which makes it so that most software will be unable to run.



Upgrading to Windows 10 is the best option you have if you want to keep your PC safe and your programs/games up to date.
