When I first went Vegan, I was really unhealthy, and I stayed unhealthy for years. Instead of blaming Veganism, I did research and changed my diet. Turns out I was eating far too much processed Vegan stuff, and not enough veg, fruit and carbs. Just switching out the processed stuff for whole foods improved my health in a matter of weeks and now years down the line I'm the healthiest I've ever been.

Basically, Veganism isn't healthy by default. It's a lifestyle, not a diet. You can be an unhealthy Vegan or a healthy Vegan. Just going Vegan doesn't mean your health will improve if you're still eating mostly processed foods.

12:21 I don't know if I've ever seen someone run so head first into the cognitive dissonance, and announce it out loud like that! I understand he would want to find issue with how he was "framed" into that corner, but I truly hope he can understand that was the exact moment and phrasing that turned me Vegan.
