When You Should Ask Your Ex To Be 'Boyfriend/Girlfriend' Again

How’s it going YouTube? Brad Browning here. I’m a breakup coaching and relationship expert from Vancouver, Canada. And in this video, I’m going to address a topic that gets asked all the time…and it’s the topic of when you should be asking your ex to be in a committed “boyfriend/girlfriend” relationship again.

I see a ton of my clients make big mistakes when they’re trying to get their ex back… they use my Ex Factor Guide program and experience incredible success… but they jump the gun, get too excited, and blow it with their ex because they asked for commitment too early. If you’ve read my Ex Factor Guide, you’d know that actions such as this lead to a tremendous loss of attraction… so this mistake needs to be avoided at all costs.

So when is an appropriate time to bring this up to your ex? Well, this topic is for people out there who are very far along in getting their ex back – they’ve engaged in No Contact for an extended period of time, they’ve used several psychological triggers and hints on their ex to get him or her to start wanting to see you again, and they’ve met with their ex several times. So in short, this video is for people who are following my Ex Factor Guide outline and experiencing the success that so many other people have had.

So how should you go about in doing this? Should you simply just pop the question to your ex boyfriend or girlfriend when things are going well?

The answer is no. In fact, the most powerful way to build attraction and force commitment from your ex is to actually get him or her to ask you. So how do you do that? Well, you do it by being covert and mysterious. See, you need to let your ex know that you’re not sure whether to get back together with them or not. I know I know, deep down inside I know you absolutely WANT your ex back, but if you pour your heart out too soon and tell them this right off the bat, you risk blowing it and making him or her run for the hills.

My bf and I haven't broken up yet. Last thursday he told me that he wanted to be alone but didn't break up directly. I turned distant and cold since then. He noticed that and he's been texting me a few times. He's been jealous cause he doesn't know what I've been doing, he says he misses me, that he loves me, that he wants to see me (after a month of being cold with me), that he's a fool, etc. But he also says that he doesn't know what to do yet... Thank you for this. I'm still pretty early in my no contact phase. But, this really helps me plan this further. I was debating rather or not I'd pop the question of prom during a comic con event I'm going to with her and some friends, which is actually as soon as the no contact phase ends. Now, I know not to do that. I'll make sure to keep contact with her, use these tactics and wait for her to pop the question of the relationship. Then, I'll bring up the idea of prom. What if your ex sends you a text during no contact saying, "I miss you, I love you, and I let it all go"? And especially if she's seeing someone else?

If your ex wants you back, before responding it's really best to talk if possible about what landed you guys to the break up when you meet in person.You want to have a fresh start . Don't rush to get back together only to probably face the same issues you had before. communication is important I know it's hard and we want to give in and get them back but after that then what? Don't sweep your problems under the rug bc that will pile up and still be there to clean up and the one who cleans up is usually the one who gets hurt TRUST ME! Thank you Brad I love your videos.

Hey Brad, so I have been watching a lot of your videos, and I was, but still am to some extent, a firm believer of the no contact period. My BF broke up with my 9 days ago as of this comment, and while it's been devastating, I have been working out like crazy and self-improving. What would you say about no-contact periods in regards to Long Distance Relationships? This is my situation, and it will be no longer long distance soon for the first time, but is three weeks too soon for my chance to talk to him in person? A lot of what you say about no contact and what they lose is nonexistent in a LDR, so would love to know if you have any insight on that.

I'm so glad that I found you on YouTube. I've watched all your videos and I also want to buy your program but let me be honest with you, I'm from India and a student thus I can't afford it. Thus I just watched all your videos..

I want your help, it will be very nice of you if you do help me.

Me and my ex broke up 15 days ago. We were in a long relationship for 3.5 years and thinks were great between us. But recently we were having some trust issues and my mom said something really bad to him and thus he decided to break up with me. I couldn't understand what to do and I stayed numb.
That night itself I called him and started begging him and begged for 8-9days and nothing worked. Finally I came across your channel on YouTube and I am now doing the no contact thing. In one of your videos you mentioned that the "clean slate" text can be send during the no contact period too ( I didn't start the no contact with the clean slate as by then I wasn't aware of that thing ) thus started the no contact period straight away.
Today is day 4 of the no contact period and I have send him the clean slate text.
He replied that he has moved on and advised me to move on and not no convince him and try to contact him. I replied him " its fine, hope all is well" he replied "yes, but I miss you, bye" 
I replied him a hour later " I was busy with some work, hope we'll talk soon"
Today he also unfriended me on Facebook.

Brad my question is, is the no contact thing working? If yes what should I do next? I love him and miss him.

hey Brad here's my story. I met my girl 10 years ago at work, she was madly in love with me. I wasn't and I ignored her. But after a few years, I got in touch with her and she was still madly in love with me and we started dating. I was an addict at the time and she stayed with me through the hard times for 3 years, I took her for granted and I never got clean. So she left me nine months ago and she met me yesterday to tell me she's getting married withing a month. I have sobered up now and she said I look so much better and healthier. She's usually rude to me but she wasn't last night when we met, we had a great time. I think she wanted to end our relationship in good terms. When I dropped her home she asked me if I would give her my fav watch I was wearing as a memory, so I did. It was all very emotional. Now I'm trying to get in touch and she's ignoring me. Do you think it's over for us??
