I and my partner were at a crossroads regarding our finances. We both agreed to talk about it and sought a solution. I’m glad we found a way out although it's with professional help, but that marked the turning point in my finances.

I find it fascinating how many people in committed relationships don’t know how much their partner makes. SUCH an important piece of your relationship. -Akeiva

Great advices, when I was younger I didn't know better. As I get older and I realized that someone's financial habits is very crucial before marrying him or her. It will either ruin or prospect your finance for life.

Me and my ex always fought about money and we eventually broke up because of it. Money is one of the most important things in a relationship. I think it's best to have a separate account for personal purchases like hair and makeup, in addition to a joint account for shared expenses like rent and groceries

I love the idea of a “money constitution” for couples. The notion of couples talking about their financial goals is very clever and definitely sounds worthwhile.
