Democracy doesn’t necessarily mean capitalism. The means of production could stay publicly owned and the government could become more democratic.

He should remove this video, he definetely knows more about the DPRK now I hope. I remember him saying he started turning to leftism and then communism only after the Bernie Sanders campaign so it makes sense that back in 2018 he was still more or less a liberal. No offense to communists who were liberals or had any other ideology in the past, we are influenced by the material conditions we live in and the fact is that in any capitalist country the capitalist class dominates not only economic and political power but also cultural power, the power to indoctrinate the working class through the control of the means of communication they heavily use to propagandise against communism.
