Nothing unites quite like a common enemy. Since the 1950s, the United States and North Korea have had a relationship that can generously be described as difficult. Both nations fought one another during the Korean war, and even to this day are warily eyeing one another across the Demilitarized zone on the Korean peninsula. In spite of this rocky past, on one occasion, both nations managed to set aside their differences for a common goal.

USA and North Korea working together is like the classic Tom and Jerry moment where they teamed up together to fight a bigger foe, and then, they went back to continue the fight again.

North Korea: I'd never thought I'd find myself working alongside the Americans

US: Then how about alongside a friend?

My Father, Master Chief Ludlam, was actually one of the Americans who boarded that ship when he was on the James E. Williams when the Dai Hong took place. The only things he has ever mentioned is the smell and the bodies on the boat which he had to crawl through. Truly tragic scenario for anyone, thank you Simple History for FINALLY shedding light on this
