Having the right audio gear like microphones and audio recorders for YouTube is important for improving your sound quality.

There are many microphone options like lapel mics, shotgun mics, boom microphones and even digital recorders, all of which are great gear for improving youtube audio and sound quality for your viewers.

Audio is one of the most important things to consider when making a YouTube video. Poor video quality might be forgivable but poor audio quality is the quickest way to lose people.

In order to get the best audio quality out of your YouTube videos you should think about investing in dedicated audio solutions for your video production. I use a Blue Yeti along with Audacity it's been giving pretty good audio. You're definitely right about taking out background noise. After I take out some background noise and remove certain noise the quality is top notch.

I've just thought of something, you could get an AC wall adapter for your camera. There should be a little flap on the side where the cord leaves out then you should be able to add a preamp underneath. then you wouldn't have to change batteries if your just going to be filming videos like these. :)

Hey Roberto... great video and thanks for the list of equipment! What type of boom mic stand are you using for your Audio Technica mic? Thanks for your help!

Hey, love the video! I see you're so close to 35k! I know you didn't mention headphones in this video, but I wanted to know what you thought about the audio technica ath-m50's. They look like fantastic headphones, but do you know if they have a microphone because I want to use them for gaming (xb1 or ps4), using Skype while playing other pc games from steam. And if they don't could you link me one?

Another good video Roberto. Audacity is a nice mention for those on a budget or no budget since its free, open source, cross-platform software for recording and editing audio. I've used it on Windows and Linux for years to remove pops, clicks and hiss from some home videos. IMO it gives the same experience on either OS.

if you have a lot of background noise, Lot of twitch streamers use a 70$ dynamic mic with some kind of xlr box.condenser mics sound great but pick up everything. :)

Always love your videos been watching you when you had 20k subs almost at 100k now that is Amazing!! So I am starting up my second channel. First was gaming and don't really talk for that. With this new channel it is me narrating a story and making a video to it. So Voice is Everything! I made the first couple vids with my gaming headset recording off the PC sound recorder. Yea learning process and wasn't happy at all with the audio :(

So today I got a Blue Snowball Mic and been going through youtube and just don't see much on the actual "How People Record". I heard you mention Audacity and will check that out. Now I have the Mic and well don't know what to do with it since I don't have a software yet :) I have a single subscription to Adobe premiere pro that I use to Edit all my videos and thanks you have helped teach me some tips on that. Now I am just a little lost with the Audio. My budget right now isn't doing more then a single app from Adobe so going to look at Audacity now.

I just started this channel and want to put out scheduled videos but really wanted to get better Audio. Thanks again for your hard work. You are very inspirational. If you have some suggestions always appreciate them. If you have a video on this and I missed it link that be great. Just surprised I haven't seen a how I record my videos audio and edit it. Guess with some of these software/hardware learning how to actually making the videos I am a slow learner. I have learned so much though since I started watching you.

Where and how do you hide your lapel mic?

I have a very soft and silent voice.. What can I do about it in terms of finding a good microphone, from which people can actually hear me? I've been using Creative Fatality and Fury headsets, but my friends have told me, that they can barely hear me. I already have the highest volume settings on. :( Is there a microphone or headset, that you could recommend? Or recommend for what specifications I should look, while searching for a microphone/headset?
Thank you in advance!

P.S. Your videos are really amazing and you've inspired me to study graphic design. I've always been told to study and finance or economics, because my parents don't believe in artistic professions.. But Ive decided to go on my own with graphic design. They know I'm good at art and that I enjoy it. So thank you also for that! :)
