If you’ve had more than five sunburns in your life, your risk of melanoma doubles. Identifying signs of this skin cancer early can make a huge difference in survivability.

Keep an eye on your skin and take note of any new or changing moles, bumps, blemishes or other skin changes that seem abnormal. And remember the ABCs of melanoma — if a spot on your skin exhibits any of these features, talk to your primary care provider about your options.
