Records show Michigan man driving with suspended license in court Zoom did have it reinstated

The video went viral online as the man attended a court hearing for having a suspended license while driving. Turns out it was an error in record filing.

This matter was cleared up in today's court proceedings. This man has actually NEVER had a drivers license. He was reinstated to eligibility for one, but never actually went and got the license. He also has another warrant in a different jurisdiction on the same crime.

Ok he is shocked his license was suspended? He said it was cleared 2 years ago but got a ticket in October for driving on a suspended license that’s why he was in court so why was he shocked if he knew in October the situation why didn’t he do something about this earlier? Sounds like he is stupid

As reported by WXYZ, Harris, 44, was shocked when he was charged with driving while his license was suspended, because a judge ordered that suspension to be lifted in January 2022. The suspension was in connection to a child support case with Saginaw County Friend of the Court, but for whatever reason the Michigan Secretary of State's Office never received the news that Harris' suspension was to be lifted.
