Leadership challenge looming for NSW Labor

New South Wales Labor leader Jodi Mckay could face a spill motion as early as today as further resignations within the party are expected in a bid to encourage her to step aside.

Ms McKay on Tuesday strongly asserted her leadership of the party, saying no one had asked her to stand aside and stressed no one within the party had the numbers to challenge her position.

Within hours of her press conference, however, NSW Shadow Treasurer Walt Secord announced his resignation saying he could no longer work with Ms McKay as leader.

His announcement came after a staff member to deputy Labor leader Yasmin Catley distributed a ‘dirt dossier’ on potential leadership contender Chris Minns to the press gallery.

Mr Minns is also expected to resign within the next 24 hours.

It's the party policies not the person.
We should start punishing mediocre parties mie not the leaders.🦘

Maybe Jodie could declare herself non binary or pan sexual, that should give her some protection plus a massive boost in popularity with the woke crowd.
