Wonderful I followed your EXACT steps and got approved for $51, 000 and I only asked for $47, 000. My credit score is a 607 (currently rebuilding) but I do have senior level salary paying job. I’ve been a member of the NFCU for about 4 years and have my direct deposit set up with them as well as a savings account. So my internal score probably sealed the deal for me.
