Appendix Carry for Big Guys!

I know this is an older video but the one thing we need to remember, wherever you carry is a) CARRY! and b) dry practice drawing. That poor guy in the church in Texas. I've heard people 2nd guessing him for carrying in the 5 or 6 o'clock but really, who knows what's gonna happen when it all goes down. I feel sorry for he and his family that he didn't draw fast enough. Thank God someone else was there to make quick work of the bad guy!

100% real. I have all those challenges you stated. I have developed a different way to appendix carry completely comfortable for me. So comfortable, I'm working on revealing it with my brand.

Heavier guys can appendix carry and I honestly think that holster and gun belt are the key. I personally think the Tier 1 Axis Slim holster is the best, because of the flexibility of the holster from the shock cord. This is predicated on carrying with a sidecar holster. For non sidecar holsters I would have to say the Concealment Express holsters are comfortable.

I was always a border line (patch player) in youth football. I remember having coaches telling me not to eat the night before and the day of weigh in's until after I weighed. I had one year I cleared by a quarter pound 😂 It's definitely doable for us bigger guys. I need to cut back some and see what it's like as a skinny guy!

I'm about the same size as you. I'm having trouble getting my 19 concealed completely, in a PHLSTer Pro. It's close, but not close enough. My waistband seems like it sits lower than yours at least in the mid section. It sits below my gut. I think that I need to bring the waistband up higher. How do I go about doing this. Also, do you have a wedge on the holster?

I'm 6'2 and 300lbs and I apendix carry everyday. Gear is very important. I use a Vedder light tuck and Kore essentials belt.

When I used to carry appendix I used a 2 inch snub dao and felt good. I am.now 5 9 and 290. I was 27 ehen I used to appendix carry.

JX Tactical customer service sucks. Had to wait over 30days for the holster. Then they sent me the wrong one. And then they would not resend until they got the other back... making me wait for them to remake and ship after their mistake is returned.
