That was the most well behaved cat I ever seen. My two run away as soon as I start to even open the packet 😅

My tips for application 1. Warm up the tube in your palm/armpit to get to body temp-2. I always make sure my CAT IS SLEEPING, helps if she sleeps in your bed. Pet her gently so she expects your touch then STEALTHILY PART FUR AND APPLY MEDS, gently carry on petting her (not on area where you just applied the advocate). Btw She might wake up on application, by then the deeds been done.

That's great, but where do I get the tranquilizer dart to administer before getting my arm completely shredded? 😂

So, my cat always runs away and wiggles away when I try. This time I did it good - wrapped him in a towel, which held his legs firm, held him in place with one arm and with the hand applied he medicine. He ran away and I walked away happy. Job done. Success.

My cat knows I'm going to administer a Spot On treatment and bolts from the room. She doesn't like being held so it ends up a wrestling match with me pinning her down and my husband trying to get the treatment on while she's hissing, spitting and wriggling. It seems most of it ends up on her fur and not on her skin. Who are these cats that just sit there and take it? They're not normal lol

My poor cat gets really lethargic after application. Thanks for the tip though - really informative and concise.

My cat is been with me for over 16 years and she was wild feral when she chose me to adopt her all that time ago but she’s still really untrusting of humans so I’ve to take her to a vet just to have a flea and wormers she’s unbearable for the vet and draws blood with anyone who tries to touch her i wish she could understand that we’re just trying to help her nightmare 😞😵‍💫

it's amazing. If you give a cat a triple dose of tranquilizers, you can make a film like this.
If this movie were real, it would be 10 minutes on how to give yourself first aid and 30 seconds on how to give your cat drops.

i have a 7month old kitten who is an absolute nightmare to flea and worm, put it in the wrong place yesterday as she would not stay still, she ended up licking it and ingesting it, she started foaming at the mouth n it was terrifying, rang our vets, they said to not worry if she was acting normal and had stopped foaming, she wouldn’t leave it be so we were told to wash it off so she couldn’t lick it anymore, one bath later and we had a very tired, unhappy cat lmao, she’s getting applied by the nurses at the vets from now on as she’s just too difficult for us to do

Where do you find a cat so calm. Once every three month my cat has to have a double one. No idea why, and it’s taken us an hour to do both with changing her around and getting shredded by her claws

Flea treatment time is getting harder for me every month 😞 I have 3 cats & applying treatment to 1 cat is a tricky, but once the other 2 notice what's happening I don't stand a chance, I only have to look at them & they run away & avoid me all day!

Helpful video! How do we know that it's starting to work? Any signs?

I did put few drops behind the head and then watched this video and did it on the correct spot.

He did scratch his head and neck area, will something happen if he licks his foot later?

He also gets on the bed, will it effect humans in anyway?

Is it better to apply the treatment all in the exact same spot of skin, or is it better (or worse) to apply it in different spots around the neck (I.e. should we spread the treatment around a little, or is it better to concentrate it in one specific spot)?

My cat also goes nuts he knows when I'm away to give him it he must smell it and runs and hides. I do eventually get it administrated.
