How to Use GPT-4 With Images (Chat GPT-4 Visual Input)

In this video, I will show you how to use GPT-4 visual input and prompts. This feature is still not available for everyone and is not public to most of the people that have GPT-4 and are using it. Visual input will be available later down the line for all the users publicly. Right now all we can do is to give GPT-3 or GPT-4 and input via a link and then AI can give us a description of an image from that link.

As stated on the OpenAI website: "Image inputs are still a research preview and not publicly available." Remember, ChatGPT's knowledge is capped at 2021, it can't access a URL in real-time. It can produce summaries of pages consisting of text if that page existed and was indexed before the model's knowledge cutoff.

Even with paid account on v4 model, it can't analyze pictures. This must be only for select people or they must have disabled it.

I tried this and it gave me a description too but it described a completely different scenario from what was seen in the image link that i shared. It also continued to stick to that scenario on resharing the same link.

You do not understand how GPT work, and why it answered that way.

It's basically inventing a description for an image (that does not exist) because it does not have access to it, and the developers did not train it to actually tell you that he can't open image links to describe them.
The description he gives is just the most probable description of an image stored on the internet.
