How to switch back from GPT-3.5 to ChatGPT-4 when you reached the limit of 25 messages in 3 hours

Problem: I used GPT4 too much yesterday, and then automatically switched back to chat GPT, which is GPT3.5. From yesterday to today, I have not used it in the middle, and then I logged in to the previous conversation again today, and the conversation object is still GPT3.5, how to switch back to GPT4?

for those on windows who can't find the "run" button, use the shortcut "ctrl + enter" instead of clicking at this stage. This process just worked for me <3 gl out there

I just asked GPT3.5 to create a summary and instructions to train Chat GPT4, I had to add a few requests to the summary, and It worked out for me. It also helped me to keep track on the bot training.

Update: it won't work, ive tried on Firefox on both my PC and my MacBook. After I do the "ctrl+enter" (and the command+enter on Mac), close the console, and refresh up to 5 minutes later, it will say there was an error generating a response. after I regenerate a response it stays in 3.5. I've lost many hours of work and a lot of training by switching to 3.5. Google hasn't shown me another way as all of the links I see are derivatives of this original way.

Hi there, I was able to follow every step but it did not work. I tried this twice. Is there something different now that it is early 2024? I just feel that if you are paying for this service this should be something that should not be an issue. We should be able to go back and forth when we are done. This is so frustrating.

yours for some reason doesn't reply right away giving you time to change the code mentioned. when I do the same it instantly replies, and the get post list is much different. any idea why?

Does use of a custom ChatGPT application, count towards the User or the Builder's 40 per 3-hour limit?

i.e. If someone else uses my application 40 times within 3 hours, then not only they will need to wait.. but I, as the app creator, will also need to wait to do any prompt?
