Smashburger Gyros Recipe

Nicole makes smashed gyro pitas with a flavorful ground beef patty and topped with a freshly shredded Greek salad. Coated in tzatziki sauce and folded inside of the toasted pita, this sandwich might be Nicole’s recipe of the year!

You can never please some people. Your meal looks great! Then of course you have to have someone saying.. I'd do this or that. My mom will make a fantastic meal and it's never good enough. With all the spices she has in it we have to add some Hot sauce.

Look into Showmar’s restaurants in Charlotte NC. Seems Smash Burger copied them. They had pita burgers but their famous meal is pork tenderloin tips. Greek recipe served with rice and salad. So good! The Eastway location shows it on the menu.

I'd go with burger fixings. Lots of carmelized oinion, cheese and mayo sauce, maybe chipotle mayo.

That “Greek pita” 🫓 looks just like Santosh Naan bread. Delicious as a mini pizza crust too.

Use lamb, and pronounce it (zot zeeky) sauce. Look at where the second “t” is in the word.
