I 💜 the idea as is section…. It’s the first place I go to when in store. I’ve got heaps of brand new still boxed items in the section because it’s last seasons etc, but what’s even better is buying ex display stuff, not only do I not have to worry about putting it together I know it’s been put together correctly!!

As a book lover, I’m clutching my chest at the thought of flipping my book jackets inside out 😩😂 Also, Philadelphia thrift stores aren’t very good, because they never have the selection that the thrift stores on YouTube have 😩

Another suggestion for books that I've done is buying a large roll of photo backdrop paper (I got mine at B&H photo for like $10). I covered all my books and then used ink and stamped the titles on all of them. They're uniform, decorative and functional. 😊

Love thrifting!! About 90% of my decorations are from thrift stores. Things like frames, candle holders, pictures, lamps, large woven baskets I use to store lap blankets when not in use. I love gold, bronze and copper colors and found a beautiful bronze color metal umbrella stand the other day for 5$ the only thing is you have to have patience! I’d love to go to a store and get all my decor at once but when you thrift it takes time to get it all

I don't think a lot of people know this, but you can also buy kits to paint or refinish leather. My mom gave us leather couches & chairs but the color didn't go with my living room. I was able to totally change the color of the leather furniture. It was like getting brand new furniture.
