I have owned a set of the SP-PK52FS floor standers for about 2 weeks now, and I am still finding it hard to believe that a pair of floor standing speakers that cost @$250 can sound this good and still not burnt in fully yet. I urge anyone in the market for an excellent pair of speakers that don't have a large footprint to audition these with your favorite music. I'll bet you will buy them.

Really interesting. I get the feeling that mister Jones here takes a lot of existing knowledge in speaker design and tries to combine all of this knowledge with simplicity (first order crossover, simple 2-way design, nothing too complicated about the drivers) and existing general wisdom. You either have to be forced to give a politically correct answer to say something as easy as "... to bring the artist's musical intentions to the ears of the listener..." or you have to know so much about loudspeakers and acoustics to be able to actually pull this off.

I can't cope any more, that backing track is too frustrating (loud and fade in/out). Shame because I think the engineer was saying something useful. I would love it if it could be removed.
