I got the 1tb WD SN850. Fitted my own heatsink to it as I bought it a while ago. Paid £125 for it plus £10 for the heatsink so £135 all in. Not bad at all. Works like a dream, really happy with it! That said, you can’t go wrong with any of these drives, they’re all excellent. Love your content, you deserve way more subs. It’s for all of us to spread the word to get you more 👊

The Segate Firecuda 530 M.2 SSD is definitely number one of many lists, sometimes even the WD Black SN850 as well. I've decided to purchase Corsair's MP600 Pro LPX M.2 SSD @ 2TB capacity for my Playstation 5. Why you may ask? Well, first things first is brand loyalty. I own a lot of Corsair products: Keyboard, Mouse, Pad, Headphones, Headphone stand, etc. It makes sense to use a trusted brand. Also, the MP600 Pro LPX features 7100MBs read/6800MBs write speeds on a PCie 4 platform. The 2TB model is currently on sale for $299 at select retailers and it does include a top tier Corsair heatsink in the price.

I wanted the Seagate Firecuda 530, but at the time it wasn't available for purchase and i already had my eye on the WD SN850 for the longest time! Even before Mark Cerny said he had that particular drive! So i did go with the WD SN 850 2TB with heatsink! No regrets!

2TB Samsung 980 Pro with Sabrent heatsink. This is what I am using and it works great.

We all knew the Seagate Firecuda would be Number 1 even after all the new ones have come out. I've had it since September and it's absolutely perfect. Blazing smooth speed and great performance. I recommend the 2TB or 4TB

Looking at the reported install size of HFW you definitely will need a storage upgrade...
I got the 4tb firecuda 530 in September and thought i might have gone overboard, but now I'm glad i did ..

Great reviews. I grabbed the Gammix S70Blade recently because it's name has been popping up, and I'm a new PS5 owner. Gammix was on every list I've watched. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Awesome video again! Thank you! I was sold on the firecuda drive as a long term investment until you called it a ssd for pros. Honestly, I'm an older gamer with a family and I get to play about an hour a day IF I'm lucky. On some very rare occasions when I have free time I may get to play for a 2 or 3 hour gaming session, but if that happened more than once every couple of months I wouldn't be me. LOL

Maybe I should save a bit and go with either the Samsung or wd black 2tb drives. 🤔

This list makes a lot of sense after watching just one of the PS5 SSD comparison videos. Though in any case, these videos are very helpful. :)

Great vid. I went with the 1TB XPG Gammix S70 Blade recently & have been very happy with it. Games have been running great with no issues. The price was reasonable as well. It's a bit more pricey here in Canada but still worth the purchase. Also comes with a heatsink which adds to the value.

I preordered the tforce pro special series 2tb, i have a read speed of 6970 with it and it stays pretty cool fitted with a 10mm heatsink that allows me to reinstall the cover. Been playing Ghost of tsushima, destiny 2, ac Valhalla all with lighting fast load speed and very smooth gaming experience. Dont sleep on this m.2
