Here's a tip. Buy one without a heatsink and buy a heatsink separately. Heatsinks are really cheap, and ssds with heatsinks cost way too much

Important: The ps5 will have a slow start up if you are using this with a extended usb storage, I have 10tb filled already may be that’s why? 3tb on m.2 drive, 7tb on extended.

When I first got my PS5 (in 2021), just doubling the memory was an investment. Now, I can get 2TB for even LESS than what I had to pay for my old 1TB. So, to me, tripling your storage space is the real sweet spot now.

It's crazy how easy is for play station players to upgrade their storage. In Xbox is much harder to change internal storage, or you spend $200 dollars on the Seagate or WD 1Tb Xbox expansion card

I messed up, i was trying to take the spacer screw off but it was so hard to take off for some reason and now the screw is just stripped

No Extended storage is best will keep your system from over heating. Then just upgrade to the PS pro 5.

Or you can just buy an 8tb or 10tb external and just keep your regular titles you play on internal and whenever you want to play others just transfer. You still have 825GB internal so that leaves your regularly played titles playable. The 10TB external will cost less then $100 rather then adding another measly 1TB of internal for like $199-$250. They are overpriced and any external can still hold your data and be transferred back n forth within no time. A game may take 10 minutes or 20 minutes but you arent going to be transferring back n forth daily. Just switch your lineup when you get bored 825GB internal is still alot of games roughly 10 and having 10TB of games you can still play the old PS4 games off it and and have many games stored on it for easy access or transferability.
