Top 10: Best Balkan Cities #balkan #travel #europe

Показать описание
One of my favorite regions in the world is the Balkan! After visiting every country as most major cities in the region, I wanted to tell you my top 10 favorite cities!
I got to be honest and say that my personal experiences do play a part in this list. If I met some cool people in a city and had a good experience, then automatically I like the city more.
Also, I haven’t explored Greece as much as I wanted to, only Crete and Athens. I might have to make this video again in some time, because I plan to explore more of Greece this summer!
Let me tell you about my top 3!
3. Kotor, Montenegro 🇲🇪
I loved Kotor because of the mix of nature, architecture, and travel culture. In my experience everyone was friendly and happy in Kotor. My favorite things to do here were the boat tour on the bay and climbing the Kotor steps to get the view on the bay!
2. Belgrade, Serbia 🇷🇸
I believe Belgrade is the Balkans biggest city. In my opinion it’s definitely the most vibrant and lively. Belgrade was the first city I visited in the Balkan and became the reason why I wanted to explore more of the region.
The biggest culture shock for me was the hospitality, which was amazing! This goes for most countries in the region, but Serbia and Belgrade became my first encounter with this hospitality, so naturally it’s gonna have a special place in my heart.
1. Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina 🇧🇦
I picked Mostar because I think it’s the Balkans most beautiful city joined with Dubrovnik in Croatia. I didn’t include Dubrovnik because of its prices and busyness.
Mostar is my favorite city because of its beauty, its history, the people, and (of course) the food! For all the recommendations in Mostar I advise you to watch my video: ‘Best places in Europe for solo travelers on a budget Part 6’, which is about Mostar!
What is your favourite Balkan city? 🤔
