Eastern Europe has three sides…

Eastern Europe has three sides, and I love all of them in different ways.

First, the city—clean, safe, and full of history. Compared to many Western cities, Eastern European cities are well-kept, with beautiful streets, great public transport, and a calmness you don’t always expect. Walking around at night feels completely normal, and there’s a certain charm in the mix of old and new.

Then there’s the block—the rows of Soviet-style apartment buildings that some might see as grey and dull, but to me, they’re full of life.

Despite the tough-looking exterior, these neighborhoods are usually just as safe as the city, and the sense of community is real. The people resemble the block, tough on the outside, warm on the inside.

And finally, the countryside—probably the least exciting for most travelers. There aren’t many big attractions, and life is simple. But this is where you meet the realest people. No filters, no rush, just honesty and hospitality in its purest form.

Each side of Eastern Europe has its own energy, but together, they make this place what it is. If you’ve been here, you know what I mean. If you haven’t, you’re missing out.

By the way, I’m planning a group trip to Czechia and Slovakia from August 8-17! It would be amazing if you’d join me 😁 We already have 10 people joining and the maximum is 20 so you have to be quick!

Pamiętam blok jako dom, wieś jako miejsce, do którego można było się udać na wakacje, a miasto było zawsze w pobliżu do zwiedzania i wielu ważnych rzeczy

Nah, the 4th is missing: the suburbs, which is mondern detached houses with their own garden. I've also never lived in the countryside, neither in the blocks, ...don't want to pretend that I've ever lived in the city center either :)
So, don't miss that out, please! 😊

The first building is in kosovo, prishtina. Its a library called pjeter bogdani. Its a great structure that was built decades ago and is a piece of history in kosovo literature
