Romania, vojvodina, Croatia and Slovenia are not part of the Balkan pennisula, they are Central Europe. It' 's not southeast Europe, that are Georgia, Armenia and Azerbeidzjan. This Pennisula is the third pennisula in Southern Europe, next to the Appenine- and Iberian Pennisula. That would be the good cultural definition, at my opinion. Slovenia was never part of The Ottoman Empire and Croatia just some junks of it.
