Have not finished watching this vid but I want to write this down now so I don't forget. I took the ca renewal test 2 times and the first test all I could remember was that you need to know the slippery road sign, sorry I cant remember the rest lol but the second test I remember more of only because I wrote it all down as soon as I was done with it, so here were the questions for the 2nd test:

-It asked about the airbag and how much feet...?( something like that, cant remember the rest of the question)

- How many feet are you allowed to park by a handicapped spot...?

- Something about turnout areas...?

-3 second time for car ahead of you...?

- Questions about how many months you get jail time for dui, license taken away?, what punishments... ( just remember everything that has to do with that subject because I got a a lot of questions on that, sorry once again I can not remember specifically every single one)

- Under which conditions can you drive off the paved road way to overtake another vehicle? Answer: Never

- When a traffic light is not working Answer: stop as if the intersection is controlled by STOP signs in all directions. Then proceed cautiously when it is safe to do so.

- You are driving 55 mph on a two- lane highway, one lane in each direction, and wish to overtake the vehicle in front of you. To execute a safe pass? Answer: You need to have a sufficient gap in the oncoming traffic.

-You are getting ready to make a right turn? Answer: You should signal during the last 100 feet before you turn.

-When two vehicles reach an intersection without stop signs or traffic signals at about the same time, the right of way should be given to? Answer: The vehicle on the right.

- A solid white line between lanes of traffic means? Answer: You should stay between your lane.

- What alcohol percentage is illegal to drive with if 21 or older. Answer 0.08%

I appreciate your efforts trying to help us Seniors. I just applied for my renewal DL test. I reviewed on youtube 6 videos .. test for Seniors. Also another video .. supposedly from DMV .. that they are showing consideration to the Seniors .. that there is A Senior test with only 18 questions. I reviewed these so called Senior Test 6 of them. And when I was at DMV this morning ... they told me .. NOT TRUE FALSE INFORMATION.
The test are by random. NO special Senior test. I failed it this morning. I saw some questions at DMV test ... that didn't appear in these .. so called Senior Test. I was very very dissapointed of the false information. So I learned a lesson ... STUDY THE HANDBOOK. And that's what I'm going to do. Thankfully, I had an extension and another chance for test. But I appreciate your efforts.

This is a good test to practice just remember that in the actual test the questions are completely randomized so practice on multiple videos. Am 18 so the test had 36 questions but if you’re 17 and under your test will be 46 questions and you can only get 6 (over 18) wrong and 8 (under 17) wrong, and if you fail the test you can take it again right away up to 3 times. If you fail and you’re 17 and under you will have to wait to take it again not sure how long. And just make sure you understand the questions because they might be reworded. And make sure you go over the drivers hand book and if you’re to lazy to read just search up california drivers handbook audio and sit back, relax and listen. And there are no tricky questions. Also if you get a question wrong it tell’s you immediately.

Took the test the 3rd time and passed. These are questions I saw on it:

Using Your Horn Use your vehicle's horn to let other drivers know you are there or warn others of a hazard. Use your horn to: Avoid collisions. Alert oncoming traffic on narrow mountain roads where you cannot see at least 200 feet ahead.

(Something about overtaking a vehicle, I think it was this one) The driver of a vehicle overtaking another vehicle proceeding in the same direction shall pass to the left at a safe distance without interfering with the safe operation of the overtaken vehicle.

You should be driving at or near the same speed as the traffic on the freeway.

(Something about truck hazards)

(Something about car flashers)

It is illegal to drive in a bicycle lane unless you are: Parking (where permitted). Entering or leaving the road. Turning (within 200 feet of an intersection).

To help manage sun glare: Keep the inside and outside of your windshield clean. Wear polarized sunglasses. Maintain enough space between your vehicle and the vehicles around you.

(Something about pavement roads, I think it was this one) Never drive off the paved or main-traveled part of the road to pass.

If you have no other option but to drive through a flooded road, drive slowly. After you make it through the water, test your brakes to make sure they work correctly.

A single solid yellow line marks the center of a road with two-way traffic. Do not pass a vehicle in front of you if there is only one lane of traffic going your direction and a solid yellow line on your side of the road.

If you're not insured and get in an accident, your driver's license will be suspended for four years. After one year, it may be returned if you provide proof of insurance to the DMV, and maintain it for the next three years.

A person convicted of manslaughter resulting from evading law enforcement during a pursuit is subject to imprisonment in a state prison for a minimum of 4 to 10 years.

(Something about right turn green light)

Do not overtake and pass a light rail vehicle or streetcar on the left side, whether it is moving or standing, unless:
You are on a one-way street.
A traffic officer directs you to pass on the left.

Before you enter a intersection, which way to you look first? Answer: (left-right-left)

If there is no curb, you must be parked parallel to the side of the road.

I find it odd, question 14, DMV didn’t specify night or day travel. So either B or C must be the answer. But address only night requirement as the answer

Thank you for those new questions for me.

9:16 answer "C" cannot be the general answer for working commuters who frequently need to travel at sunrise and sunset. It is a prejudicial answer assuming seniors would have vision difficulties the daily commuters do not.
