My mother was an original "trekkie" when the Series first started. She took several of us to the first Trek convention in my town. She didn't live to see how far it evolved....but when I hear this music from"First Contact's think she would have loved it and the movie. She had hope for the future, and I think this evokes it.🖖

This is the best piece of music that was ever composed for Star Trek (variation: First Contact, from the soundtrack, included). That they managed to include this theme in the end credits for Picard, Season 3, is beautiful. It is my favorite Jerry Goldsmith work. And, my vote is that "First Contact" is the 2nd best Star Trek movie (second only to The Wrath of Khan).
