I was adopted from Germany by an American couple. They were given zero medical history and took me home from the hospital. These people chose a special needs child and made a ton of money from his presence on their channel. I am so disgusted by this and the message it sends that adoption is not forever. They exploited this sweet boy. I managed a foster care program and have seen the trauma rejection and abandonment causes long term. Their actions should be illegal and I hope they are no longer able to adopt future children. I’m so furious and glad it’s getting attention

I also think this family should give a portion of the revenue they made from Huxley’s presence on their channel to his new family to help with the cost for his care & the stem cell treatment his was promised. If they couldn’t handle it being millionaires then it will definitely be harder for a middle class family. It’s the least they could do.

Someone needs to represent Huxley and sue those people for exploiting him. He deserves every penny they made off his pain.

I grew up with a severely mentally retarded, autistic, non verbal brother. My other three brothers and I learned more about compassion, patience, love and hard work from him and my parents. My parents put their all into him, started a support group with parents of mentally challenged children, went to Washington DC to voice their issues with the lack of education for these kids and lots of other things. They never gave up on him. He lived to be 52 years old and passed in 2012. He taught us a lot and I will be forever grateful for that. This couple should have tried harder and longer to nurture this precious boy. I hope her other children don't grow up thinking when life gets tough you just make the problem disappear.

People complain about cancel culture but I think we can all agree that this family is worthy of it. They need to be cancelled.

She literally treated her adopted child like a pet...

They're disgusting. How can they abandon a child they themselves chose to adopt? Imagine the trauma Huxley is enduring. Poor kid..

So all they did was make money from him while adding to his trauma and abandonment issues. Sickening. They haven't lost a huge amount of subscribers last time I looked which is crazy, I wish everyone would unsubscribe from them

Taking care of a person with special needs is pretty much a 24/7 job. My twin sister is special needs. I take care of her. We have our ups and downs, but I love her and couldn't imagine putting her in a home or abandoning her...pretty sick that they felt that the benefit (profit$$$) would outweigh the hard work and challenge of having a special needs kid. They not only (more than likely) re-traumatized Huxtley, but probably their own biological children - especially if any of them formed a bond with him.

I'm disgusted by her and her husband. Children are not objects.

I only liked watching the cleaning videos of Stauffer Garage, but I could never get into the wife's channel. She is too obsessed with perfection. It was one of the reasons I felt she wasn't going to be able to handle all her kids, her vlogging videos, her exercising, her diets, etc much less adding a special need child.
This hurts my heart so much. My husband and I are in the process of fostering/adopting our drug-addicted neices two sons, a new born and a one year old. The newborn was born addicted and is already showing signs of delays in development. Nonetheless, we know we will see them as OUR children. We would never think of returning them.

Imagine adopting a child from a country that casts out special needs people and then flat out rejecting him a few years later. I just couldn’t.

Tasha, I'm so proud of you for this video! I am adopted and I can't begin to imagine the trauma that I would still carry with me today if my parents had decided I was too much for them (which, lord knows that many people would think I was. I was not at all what they bargained for) !!!! Thank you for covering this with class and honesty. I will always be a fan.

Their new baby is under 1 year old I believe, they knew Hux required so much attention and needs but yet they chose to have another baby knowing a newborn would require a lot of attention. They even talked about adopting again. Adoption and pregnancy journey bring the views. They knew exactly he would have a lot of struggles but they couldn't "FIX" him in their timeframe so he was given away. I'm shocked at James because I thought he bonded with him, and his wife seemed like she was stuck babysitting and was over it. Hopefully Huxley gets the love and care he needs and if he's in foster care like people saying he is he may have a rough life ahead of him.

She lost her nursing license for physical abuse of pregnent coworker. Lawsuit is public under her maiden name myka murie bellisari. So it not hard to guess what she did to Huxley when camera is off
