Do You Want to Quit Teaching? 6 ways to know if leaving teaching is right for YOU

Are you conflicted about whether you should stay in the classroom or if you should quit teaching? No worries many teachers are, it doesn't matter if you are a general education teacher or a special education teacher- many teachers want to quit teaching. Quitting teaching is a big decision, which requires a lot of thought. Making the decision to stay or leave teaching shouldn't come with judgment or feelings of guilt.

That last point really hit me. I already had some unaddressed issues, but being around children who are pulling more than what I have in me is draining my mental health. I feel bad because I know that I've begun to make a difference and make a name for myself, but it's just so much more than what I was expecting. I don't want my kids to keep seeing me decline in front of them. I almost walked out today, but I made myself stay because that's what everyone around is shoving down your throat. I'm tired

Yes you should quit teaching. That is because everyone should quit teaching. The public schools need to be automated out of existence into online academy for all, performed either at home or in your church’s basement overseen by paid babysitters. Most kids are so limited intellectually that twelve years of standard public schooling will do them little good as inevitably the average adult seems to always end up with an IQ of 100 [average], a reading level of sixth grade, and a job which took them perhaps two weeks to learn how to do.
