The Ultimate Shampoo Hack!

Changing the way that I shampoo made all the difference in how clean my hair looked & felt after washing and how long it lasted between washes before starting to look greasy. Just massaging shampoo on the top of my head was neglecting so much of my scalp, and our scalp is what desperately needs to be cleansed in order to stay healthy! Thinking about actually massaging shampoo onto my scalp vs my just hair helped SO much! Search "Shampoo Routine" on my YouTube channel to hear my step by step shampoo process every wash day #washday #shampoo #haircare #haircaretips #hairtips

I have thick hair and it's a nightmare trying to get shampoo all over my scalp. Now I use a squeezy bottle with a long tip (got mine at Ikea I think). I mix my shampoo in the bottle about 50-50 with warm water, swirl the bottle to mix, and just squeeze the shampoo into my roots. My hair get super clean this way.

I put my shampoo and water mix in an application bottle and get straight to my scalp. The best hack for me.

Shampooing upside down always gives my scalp the best cleanse, and double cleansing even with a clarifying shampoo has changed the game for me! I'm getting new baby hairs too!

I tried this from one of your other video recommendations, and it works like a dream much cleaner hair. Thank you for being my Hair Savior in every way from product recommendations I saved so much money going to drugstore. Love you please keep doing your drugstore recommendations in this economy so I can have nice things without breaking the bank. Love you Abbey!

Yes ❤I always focus on getting close to the roots and scalp when shampooing and especially wash the back of my hair around the nape area because that is usually the dirtiest area since hair is thicker there.

Well, for someone like me who has thick hair, this is really hard to execute. Therefore I have bought myself a silicone scalp massager with huge cone-shaped bristles to help massage the shampoo onto my scalp

I use this silicone finger brush to gentle work the shampoo into my scalp. It’s from Amazon and super cheap. I also love the volume and body shampoo from Pantene - my scalp feels so clean with it

you can apply your shampoo mixed with any oil like coconut jojoba batana and/or rosemary in a color application bottle and also water it down for easier spreading and saturation

That’s what I do. Always have. Also always separate my hair into sections when I condition. My mother taught me how to be squeaky clean very early in life.

I usually mix shampoo and water in a bowl and mix it till it foams then pour it on my scalp whilst separating the hair

Abbey thankyou for this hack!
I remember you posted a long video about gorgeous Vanilla smelling products & are you aware that the brand Milkshake makes a leave in conditioner called Whipped Cream? It smells just like Cream/Vanilla & when worn with Philosophy Fresh Cream body wash, body cream & the perfume you literally smell Devine!!!
I bought the Philosophy range after your recommendation & realised my Milkshake leave in goes so well with it! Hope you see this!

Pretty much what I do. I tie my hair up into multiple ponytails to get that done. And I still put my fingers in multiple sections within each ponytail.
