To be fair to AMD, the purpose of the 9950X is NOT gaming and it is considerably faster in productivity tasks. This is still an interesting look at how much better the extra cache of the X3D chips really helps in gaming

For me are important 2 stats as a CSgo2 player.
Last line in video called "latency" in ms (mili seconds) and second on voltage from procesor in C.PWR.
In every geme 7800X3d has almost half requirement for power delivery for CPU. Like 74 wats vs 144 wats which is madness. It effects way of cooling procesor and it will be way easier to cool 7800X3d over this new 9950X
Latency in CS check for example CSGO 2 in time 7:28 when bomb explodes.
There new 9950x hits over 6 ms (625 -408 fps = 217 fps drop in few ms ) while 7800 keeps on low 1.7 latency stays (625 -548 = 77 fps drop in few ms)

7800X3D is definettly a winner in power consumption and in constant lower latency in ms.

7800x3D is too crazy, less watt 50%, less press but more performance with less temperature. No. 1 procie in the world for gaming

It isn't so much that the Ryzen 9 9950X sucks but more so how good the Ryzen 3D chips are for gaming. Seemingly unbeatable.

Nothing to see here, just your X and 3D comparison. Imagine having all that cores and still can't beat your previous gen. And consuming double the power, who would want to do that? Another big smile for 7800X3D owners. Newer gens often disappointing but at the same time more expensive. You would say something like "but it's only good for gaming?", well that won't make the 3D completely unusable for productivity tasks either. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The 5800X3D w/ 2x16GB DDR4-3600 CL16 & the 7800X3D w/ 2x16GB DDR5-6000 CL30 are the two most goated CPU RAM combos of the last 2.5 years. However, I am very worried for the 9800X3D. The 7600X could match the 5800X3D, yet here not even the 9950X can get close to the 7800X3D. Zen 5 may be DOA.
