In the opening round of the 2017 World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational, Rory McIlroy cards five birdies and two bogeys for a 3-under 67.

The Bridgestone Invitational is contested in Akron, Ohio. In the final round of the 2016 World Golf Championships event, Dustin Johnson shot a 66 to claim his 11th win on the PGA TOUR. This time, Rory McIlroy returns with the aim to reclaim his 2014 title at Firestone Country Club.

His short game was so off yet he could've been the leader just cause off his distance and accuracy off the tee ... If he can get his short game improved he could easily dominate

OK This has been bugging me for a couple years. Why does the PGA golf coverage show so little of Tony Finau ? Not just today when he tied for the lead, but even when he's in contention ? Last event he was in contention on Sunday finished top 5.Almost the whole day I only saw Tony on the coverage in the back ground when someone else was being covered, behind Tony in the standings even. The guy is a great story as well as so talented. May win a major, He close to being a top 5 for the season. IMHO I feel better ty ty very much
