Fantastic. They'd be a hit at any gathering. Problem being everyone would whine if you didn't make them every time.
I would put the cheese on the bottom and may even use slices to stabilize the bun and to let the chili get down in there and bathe the dog and not sit on the pillow of cheese. Shreds on top, of course. Mustard on the chili and raw sweet onion on top.
One thing we always do is serve a green onion alongside-one for each dog-for crisp oniony crunch to enjoy between or with each bite. But we really love onions.

That chili looks perfect for chili dogs. I put a layer of cheese between the bun and the hot dog, but otherwise, I top them the same way you did. Nothing like a chili dog when you're craving a bit of spicy comfort food :)
