Children with sick siblings sometimes feel this way too.
But are too ashamed to admit it.
Children view life through feelings and emotions. So they can't logically understand the difficulties of their siblings.

I didn't realize all your family members went through so many painful surgeries, not to mention... Healing and growing with these artificial adjustments fused with their bones. My friend from school is a little person and she married a man that is almost 6 ft tall…I haven’t seen her in 10 years but last I heard they are still married. They had two children, both daughters, both grown ups now, one of small stature and the other of normal height. When we’d see them out as a family when the girls were young, they always seemed to enjoy each others company, always smiling, Deb and her husband usually holding hands, or sitting close in restaurants. ❤️
