What impresses me the most about this mod is just how well the creators managed to maintain the games distinct look and graphics.

Not being able to burrow on ships is such a cool detail. It would be neat if they had a few more like that. Like if Crewmates and Seamen had +1 speed on ships because of sea legs or something

Oooh, the Halfling Adobe looking like the Heroes 2 Adobe gets a nice nod in the campaign story text. In the second scenario, Halfling refugees take up residence in abandoned Ogre dwellings.

Cant wait for the factory playthrough showcase.. my favourite creature is the basic couatl!!! Looks so colorful and pretty (and cute invulnerability animation...) but if we set the looks aside, then the halflings.

Honestly, I was a "factory hater" based on the beta screenshots and concept art they released earlier-- I didn't really think it fit the style of the game and I wasn't sure if the faction's twin t7 units would fit the game mechanically either. But I actually really like how it turned out. The final version of the new town looks great, the split town upgrade path is interesting and I really like how unique the new units are.

Although if halflings are really as strong as they seem I have a feeling they might be in the crosshairs of a balance patch sometime soon, even if they do fall off in the midgame.

Not sure if you've played any of the campaign for this yet, but if I recall correctly you learn in the campaign level 2 that the first adobes the halflings live in are actually abandoned ogre houses. Another throwback to the homm 2 ogre adobes. The lore with factory is awesome IMO. :)

The Olgoi-Khorkoi can also devour a corpse and double attack the same turn if a corpse is next to the target

Upgraded Sandworms can actually devour corpses and attack on the same move. Keep an eye out for corpses next to enemy creatures!

A VERY MINOR thing that bummed me a bit out, is that I had hoped we would see a return (or a "preturn") of some of the Halfling heroes that are in Heroes IV, the only other game where you have halfling Heroes, iirc.
