Really hyped over this faction. But damn, it seems so hard to play. I have played 5 JO games with it so far, I have not managed to break before 211 a single time, whereas on other factions I typically break mid third week. My observations so far:
* The entire faction is quite squishy. It is hard not to bleed units. Any slightly harder fight, and I'm left with only armadillos.
* It takes a goddamn PhD to not hurt your own units with Engineers.
* It's not quite clear what to use for 1-stacks. Using haflings feels bad, as they are the damage dealers. Using armadillos feels bad, taking retaliation with tier 3 omg. Using Engineers is sort of ok, but see previous point.
* The town is intense on wood and ore. I suspect it may be worth it to take two dwellings of each as a high priority.
Looking forwards to learning how this works better

As it currently stands, the mod has changed quite a bit since this video:
- The two level 7 units (each requiring their own building still) can still be recruited each, but they share a single availability number. So buying one subtracts one from the availability line of the other too.
- Armadillos can be upgraded a second time, but only at hill forts. The third form has a cool rolling animation too.
- Engineers can now repair automatons from anywhere on the battlefield, making them less exposed to attack.
- I think automatons no longer explode (haven't noticed it anyway), instead they have a 'jousting' bonus, like cavaliers do.
- The worms (at least the upgraded ones) have a strike-and-return attack, like harpy hags do. Not sure about the eating ability, haven't noticed but I may have missed that.
- Juggernauts don't have a ranged attack anymore, instead they have a strange multi-hex (melee) attack that I don't really get. No preview as to what hexes are affected. I always hit my own troops with their attack, so I just opt for Quetzaquotls.
- No bank

So quite a few changes, probably more balanced this way.

Thank you for showcasing Factory! Looks great! I think you're probably right, once their mechanics are mastered, they might be OP. Either need nerfing, or other Towns, like Castle, which have too few specialties, will need buffing.
