Thank you for the hint! However, if you declare a variable in a previous line but you select other lines for running which include this variable, you will get a NameError (name ... is not defined). Do you have any hint how to solve that without running the whole code again? Isn't there like a workspace in which the variables from the previous run are saved?

Most of this video is not relevant to topic (its about running whole file). Author mentions at end Alt+shift+E will work line by line "if pycharm is properly configures", but does not mention how to do that configuration. So, really, this video is not useful at all.
