This solved my IP problem 100% Turned out I needed to disable my Anti-Virus protection. It was stopping my connection from reading the IP config. Thank you for the great advice and video!

I had this problen recently, and your video helped me out.
My work laptop decided to not connect to my wifi, suddenly it needed the ip adress of my wifi. (It was working perfectly the day before.) I never knew its such a thing. And the restarting wasn't the solution this time. I had to solve the problem, because I was in home office, and I was in a hurry. I am a casual user, never had to dig deeper than the usual "disconnect - reconnect" stuff.
Next time, if I have a problem again, I'll come straight to your channel.

For mine, I had been using an external USB wireless adaptor to connect to my home WiFi. With the REALTEK USB wireless LAN program, there was a button on it to "Renew IP". I clicked it and it works now.

The clean boot worked for me!! But only after I restarted my laptop and un-disabled the programmes in my task manager again:)
