$200 Japanese Apartment Tour in Tokyo

Welcome to my tiny Japanese apartment tour! In this video, I will be taking you through my affordable living space in Japan that costs only $200 a month in rent. This apartment may be small, but it has everything I need to live comfortably in Japan, including a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a cozy sleeping area.

While this apartment is a great deal, I should warn you that it may be haunted! I have heard strange noises at night and have felt a strange presence in the room. But, if you're brave enough to live with a little bit of spookiness, this apartment is perfect for those who want to experience the unique quirks of living in Japan.

Renting in Japan can be a bit of a challenge, but I have found that with a little bit of research and effort, it is possible to find affordable living spaces like this one. If you're interested in renting in Japan, be sure to do your research and check out local listings.

Overall, I am very happy with my tiny Japanese apartment and I hope this tour gives you a good idea of what it's like to live in a small, affordable space in Japan. Thanks for watching!

Apart from gas based death contraptions I like how you’ve used the space to your advantage. Keep up the great work Jordan

I've lived in a similar apartment in Shizuoka. I can still remember the sound of the little gas water heater at the sink. I guess I found the whole setup kind of charming. Save all your ghost stories and hit us with a Halloween special on the pod. 😉

I agree that mug is the best thing you've bought this year so far! You cannot beat a good cute mug

For a temorary accommodation I think it's a nice enough space but I couldn't do long term because the gas death trap would give me serious anxiety 😅

I wonder if the older couple only comes back on the weekends because they have to appease the ghost of some lost child. The real test comes next month when the temperatures start to rise and you get that summer heat.

My old apartment wasn't built in 1966, but it was built around that period. Plus, I nearly moved into a renovated building that had been built in 1964. It was former social housing in a small city called Kaizuka in the boonies of Osaka prefecture, closer to Wakayama than it was in Osaka. The rent was 20000 a month with the only moving-in fee being a two-month deposit. But that choice got vetoed by the company I was working for, Borderlink, who "suggested" I move closer to the schools they were sending me to. So, I ended up in the old 14-story apartment building in Senboku town, Sakai City. Not the worst of places.

What a nice gas-explosion-themed apartment!
I hope you don't have to stay in that for too long...
