The monthly rent is cheap and a bit on the outskirts of central Tokyo, but this is what you would get. If you are looking to move to japan and are in search of an apartment, this would be what you would get for this price range. Also, you must factor in distance from central tokyo as well as distance from the station as most commuters travel by train in Tokyo. Living in Tokyo can be quite expensive so I hope this can give you a sense of what Tokyo apartment rent prices are like. I love how the first appartment could have been completely renovated with just 300-500€ and increase the rent by 50€, but the landlord was probably like "hell no, who cares". It could have looked like the third appartment at least from the design etc.

The first two apartments were really old school, but the second one was WAY nicer than the first for only $25 a month more. The third apartment was clean and modern. While more than twice as expensive, it was certainly worth it. It was actually an apartment, while the first two were basically sleeping rooms. I’ve watched your videos for a while, but just found this one. I think most people are very interested in what’s available and would like to see you work your way thru the price ranges to compare!

The last apartment is actually so nice. I’m actually searching for a nice SMALL cozy apartment (like i’m specifically looking for a tiny apartment, I absolutely love small spaces because they’ve always felt warm and safe to me.) in the Tokyo metro area to live in and that last apartment is a genuine consideration.
